Under 13s Football Tournament 14th March

On Monday 14th March, Fulneck U13s travelled to Hull Collegiate School for the annual Schools' football tournament. Fulneck knew that it was going to be a tough tournament as there were many schools that had entered, that had previously won the competition. Fulneck's first game was against Queens Ethelburga's. Fulneck played very well during the first half, attacking the oppositions defence and holding their own. The second half, Fulneck started the same. Unfortunately, one ball cut through the defence and Queens Ethelburga's scored their first goal of the tournament. Straight after, the opposition scored again. Fulneck took their first defeat in the chin and knew that they still had 4 more games to turn it around. The second game was against Rishworth School. Previously in the year, Rishworth have dominated the football fixtures. However, Fulneck never gave up and got themselves a win against Rishworth, with great goals by Julio and Ellis.
