Junior House Music

Our House Music was exceptional today; the children have performed all week in classification finals for specific instruments and vocals.

It led to a total of 25 entries being whittled down to nine. At the risk of talking statistics on a Friday night that equates to 44% of the pupils in the junior school made an entry to the competition for the House Music Cup and 10% got through to the final.

Music in the junior school is really blossoming and I thank Mrs Lewis, Mrs Atkins and all of our fabulous peripatetic staff for making some real and noticeable improvements to the children.

Our visiting adjudicator paid tribute to the work that had gone on, saying that there was a vast difference from last year to this; well done everyone involved.

We finished off the morning with the House Singing, where honours were shared; the early years competition was won by Connor and the Juniors by La Trobe.

A big 'Well Done' to all involved. It really is fantastic to see you all perform with such confidence.
