2019 A Level Exam Success

Under the newly reformed post-16 qualifications, excellent results require a combination of sound work ethic from the students, dedication from the teachers and support from parents.

I am delighted for all members of the Fulneck community that their hard work has been rewarded with a fine set of A Level and Btec results. The latter particularly stand out, with all entries achieving the top Distinction* grade in both Hospitality and Catering, and Sport.

The students now go on to a diverse selection of degree subjects, ranging from the traditional subjects such as the sciences, Law and History to the modern such as Computer Science and games development. Many of our students have selected vocational subjects such as business, nursing or even Bloodstock and Performance Horse Management. Others have, quite correctly, chosen to go down the Higher Apprenticeship route.

Just as importantly, another cohort of students leaves Fulneck School fully aware that they now have a moral responsibility to use their own success to make a positive contribution to the wider world.
