Family, friendship and fun in a true home from home environment...

As confirmed by the recent Ofsted inspection, Fulneck is an outstanding boarding school.  There are separate houses for boys and girls.  Boarding is offered on a full or weekly basis, to children from the age of nine.  Each child is cared for in a relaxing family atmosphere where their needs are paramount. Most boarders are accommodated in single or double rooms.

The boarding houses are run by experienced, caring staff who understand the needs of young people who are away from their families. We ensure our boarders feel at home in our safe and secure surroundings. There is an excellent system of pastoral care which ensures the welfare and well-being of each individual.

Boarders are encouraged to personalise their rooms to make them feel comfortable and to ensure their life in our boarding house truly is a ‘home from home’.

Communication

Time is set aside each day to communicate regularly with family and friends. The boarding houses have their own ICT facilities and older boarders have controlled access to wireless internet in their own study bedrooms and in common areas.

English Support

In order to meet the needs of overseas students who need to improve their English, we provide lessons in English as an Additional Language.

Excellent Location

The school’s proximity to the motorway network, main rail lines and Leeds/Bradford airport makes it a convenient  location for boarders coming from anywhere in the UK or abroad.
