Pastoral Care

All our boarders are safe, happy and well cared for.

As boarders move up through the school we encourage the boarders to take on more responsibilities offering opportunities to participate in decision making through House meetings and the Boarders' Council.

Praise and reward is central to the ethos of both boarding houses. We seek to ensure that new boarders very soon feel at home and on arrival are allocated a buddy to support and help them settle into the school routines.

It is a privilege to be entrusted with the welfare of our boarders and we greatly value open communications with parents and guardians. We work together in ensuring the wellbeing of each individual student. The Heads of each Boarding House schedule regular updates with parents/guardians; families are able to contact the Boarding staff at any time to discuss the welfare and happiness of their children.

The smooth running of the Houses depends on the cooperation of each individual in the community as they develop their social and leadership skills.
