A typical day in boarding

On school days boarders are up and about by 7.30am preparing to go for breaksfast. At weekends the atmosphere is much more relaxed as they rise later, many opting for in house breakfast rather than a cooked meal in the dining hall.

After lessons finish at 3.55pm, pupils return to the boarding house unless they have an extracurricular club to attend. This time is free for boarders to relax until the evening meal at 5.30pm.

After the evening meal all pupils must attend their prep sessions. After prep boarders will then be able to take part in organised activities or relax with their friends. Bed time is different for all ages.

At weekends the pace in boarding becomes more relaxed and boarders enjoy a mix of relaxation and involvement in a wide variety of activities ranging from cinema trips, excursions, visits to cultural venues, sporting events and shopping centres.
