Fulneck is a popular boarding school with separate houses for boys and girls.  Boarding is offered on a full, weekly or even flexible basis, reflecting the needs of the modern family.  Your child’s needs are catered for in our relaxed family atmosphere where the needs of the individual are paramount. Most students are accommodated in single or double rooms.

The boarding houses are run by qualified, caring staff who understand the needs of pupils who are away from their families. We aim to make them feel at home in our safe and secure surroundings. There is a strong welfare structure; supervised homework sessions and a wide range of organised activities throughout the week and at weekends to make your child’s stay here an enjoyable one. Pupils are welcome to personalise their rooms to make them feel comfortable and to ensure their life in our boarding house truly is a ‘home from home’.

Pupils are encouraged to communicate regularly with family and friends. The boarding houses have their own ICT facilities and older students have controlled access to the Internet in their own study bedrooms.

In order to meet the needs of overseas students who need to improve their English, we provide lessons in English as an Additional Language.

The school’s proximity to the motorway network, main rail lines and Leeds/Bradford airport makes it highly convenient for boarders coming from anywhere in the UK or abroad.
