Wrap around care
The School Day
The school day runs from 8.50am-3.45pm for Junior School pupils. However, we understand that pressures of the modern world sometimes mean fitting your schedule around the school day can be difficult. To make things easier, we provide early/late and holiday care provision.
Early Class/ Late ClassÂ
Junior School pupils can be dropped off from 8am. Supervision is free of charge and provided by the members of the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff. All pupils must be in school for no later than 8.45am.
An extended day facility is provided after 3.45pm in the Junior Late Room Mondays to Fridays. Pupils will be supervised at all times and given a snack between 4pm and 5pm. Pupils may stay in the Late Room until 6pm. If for any reason, parents need to pick up their children later than 6pm, the child will be taken by the boarding staff to the appropriate boarding house until the parent collects them. The lLate Class facility is free of charge.
Holiday Club
Fulneck School operates a supervised care club for pupils aged 3-11 every school holiday (except Christmas). The Holiday Club runs from Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm. Pupils may attend full days or half days and are supervised by fully-qualified staff. A full schedule of activities is arranged for each holiday.
During the school holidays, we organise at least two outings a week ranging from tenpin bowling to the cinema and various parks in and around the area. We also enjoy visits from specialist sports coaches. We have a whole range of fun activities to keep the children active during the holidays including treasure hunts, sports days, parachute games, fun with balls and bats, and swimming.
Various flexible options are offered, including half days, three-quarter days and full days.
