Matched funding
Many businesses run a matched funding scheme as part of their Corporate Social Responsibility Program. In other words, they will match the funds raised at an event if an employee was involved in helping to run the event. This potentially allows us to double the money we raise at events throughout the year.
Many companies do this, especially banks, public utilities and large multi-nationals. Some examples are Abbey, Alliance & Leicester, Allied Domecq, AXA, BAA, Barclays, Booker, Boots, BP, Bradford & Bingley, British Gas, BT, Cable & Wireless, Carlsberg Tetley, Co-operative Bank, Diaego, HSBC, Lloyds TSB, M&S, Microsoft, N Power, National Grid, Natwest, Norwich Union, O2, RSB Group, Royal Bank of Scotland, Sainsburys, Slough Estates, Tesco, Unilever, United Utilities, W H Smith, Woolwich, Yorkshire Bank and many others.
Many other companies will do this if asked, even though they don't have a formal scheme. Please check out your employer's policy and get in touch with us if you can help. This really is a way you can make a huge difference for minimum effort!
Christmas Fair 2013 – 7th Dec 2013

Fill a jam jar with sweets and gifts etc, Tombola gifts (nothing used), Soft toys, Bottles as prizes and cakes/buns for the cake stall. Of course the cakes will need to be brought in the day before the fair but anything else, please drop off at reception and we’ll be informed to collect from their.
