Christmas Craft Fayre
The annual PFA Christmas Craft Fayre was held on Saturday 21 November in the Junior School. Thanks go to the PFA for their organisation of a fantastic fayre which raised over £2,000! A great deal of organisation and hard work went into the smooth running of the day which was another huge success. Mrs Newman also thanks the boarders for running their tombola, the Sixth Form for their tuck shop, the face painters, Bethany Hird and Jade Watt, who made some young children very happy, and all the Senior School pupils (too numerous to mention individually) who so willingly gave up their time to come in and help, either running stalls or just being extra bodies. Thank you and well done!
Open Day
A huge thank you to the PFA for all their help and support at our recent Open Morning on Saturday 10 October 2009. The members did a tremendous job serving refreshments and making all of our visitors very welcome. Your support as always is truly appreciated.
Family Fun Day
On Saturday 19 September School held a Family Fun Day to raise funds for the Sports Hall Development Fund. The PFA helped out in many ways, helping to organise the event, running the café in the School Dining Hall as well as running stalls on the day. The event was a huge success! Thank you to everyone who attended.
Sports Days
At the end of the Summer Term the PFA provided Strawberry Teas at the Kindergarten Sports Day, Junior Sports Day and the Senior Sports Day. A very welcome addition indeed! |
