Wrap around care
FS and Year 1: Early class
Pupils in Nursery/Reception meet in the Nursery. From 8.00-8.30am supervision is provided by the members of the school’s teaching and non-teaching staff. Nursery and Reception pupils not using Early Class should be taken directly to the Reception classroom from 8.30am. Registration takes place at 8.40am.
FS and Year 1: Late Class
An extended day facility is provided after 3.45pm in the ‘late-class’ which is situated in the Comenius Centre, Mondays to Fridays. There is a separate late facility for Year 3-6 pupils and Nursery-Year 2 pupils. Pupils will be supervised at all times.
They will be given a snack between 4pm and 5pm.
Nursery-Year 2 pupils may stay in the late room until 6pm.
Fulneck School operates a supervised care club for pupils aged 3-11 every school holiday (except Christmas). The Holiday Club runs from Monday to Friday, 8am-6pm. Pupils may attend full days or half days and are supervised by fully-qualified staff. A full schedule of activities is arranged for each holiday.
During the school holidays, we organise at least two outings a week ranging from tenpin bowling to the cinema and various parks in and around the area. We also enjoy visits from specialist sports coaches. We have a whole range of fun activities to keep the children engaged and happy.
