Here at Fulneck Junior School we are continuously developing and improving the extra-curricular opportunities we offer; clubs and activities run at lunchtime and after school with a variety of options in the performing arts, sport, academia and clubs with a more general interest.
Our aim is to enrich the lives of the children by providing broad and varied experiences. We give children the opportunity of trying new and exciting activities, whilst maintaining, as well as improving, established interests.
Consequently, extra-curricular activities are a very important part of the education of our children. Children are actively encouraged to get involved with as many clubs as they want (with the support of parents) as well as immersing themselves in the rich intramural competitions afforded by our House system, to which each child is allocated, upon joining the school. This in turn, creates a pathway for the children to excel and potentially continue to progress outside of school.
