Fulneck school has been an excellent centre for education for over 250 years. Our Pre-School benefits from our many years of educational experience, meaning we know how to balance learning and development with exploration, play & imagination to give your child a well rounded start & prepare them for school life.
Our ethos of 'Work hard, be kind' extends through every area of our school & in Pre-School it means happy, sociable, caring children who love to learn. Fulneck Pre-School is based in Pudsey, the Pre-School is connected to Fulneck independent private day & boarding school.
Fulneck Pre-School sits in it’s own recently refurbished setting, with 4 seperate rooms including a dedicated classroom, a play room, wet play room & kitchen/baking area.
Outside - Fulneck has over 200 acres of ground which proves the perfect setting for children to explore & learn.
Even at the earliest stages of a child’s development we provide a broad and balanced curriculum, which takes into account your child’s individual needs. Our emphasis is on developing the personal, social and emotional skills, as well as early English and Maths. We recognise how important these skills are in contributing to a child's knowledge, understanding and abilities in other areas of learning. PE, Spanish and Music sessions are all taught by specialist teaching staff at Fulneck School:

Entrance to the pre school is open to all; we have a vibrant and well-revered setting and as a result the demand for a place that transfers into the Reception class of the School is high. We offer 15 hours funding from the Nursery Education Grant Scheme, for those who are eligible, though these are limited and you may want to discuss your options personally with one of our team.
We offer flexible hours and children can attend the nursery on a full or part-time basis, to fit in with the working hours and needs of parents.
